How Nose Prints was born
I was born and raised in New York City. I always had pets but my first job in the pet industry was when I took over a dog-walking job from my old boyfriend that was moving out of state to go to college. Well that first dog-walking job happened to be Rachael Welch and her then husband, Andre’s dog “Chat”. Chat was a sweet Doberman that I fell in love with immediately. I walked her in Central Park twice a day, 7 days a week. Of course doing that, I met a lot of other dog owners. Soon after, I started housesitting for other dog owners. I would either stay at their apartments or they would stay at mine (thanks mom). There was a time when we had about 5 dogs in our apartment (remember, I grew up in NYC on the 8th floor!). I did this throughout high school and most of college. A friend of mine was working at an animal hospital on the upper west side and she knew I was looking for a weekend job while in college so I started working at the front desk on Saturdays and Sundays. 19 years later I have learned so much in the veterinary field.

The goal of Nose Prints
First and foremost in my mind is educating our customers. There is so much misinformation that is passed around, that people need a reliable source. If you have a question, ask me. If we don't have an answer, we'll get the information for you. And of course, we want to have a lot of fun doing it!
